The FABAbill Privacy Policy explains what we do with the information you provide to us.
Customer Information
This consists of the Name, Email Address, Law Firm Name, Street Address, and Phone Number you provide us with
when you sign up for a Free Trial or purchase a FABAbill license. It also consists of the License Start
Date, Termination Date, Maximum Number of Staff Members your license allows and the Name, Email Address, and
Last Sign-In Date of any users you set up. Lastly, customer information may include emails or other
written correspondence that you send to us or that we send to you, and notes from conversations regarding any
questions, suggestions, and requests for assistance you may have.
Customer information is securely maintained for our internal use. We use this information to support
your use of FABAbill during your free trial or subscription, and to determine if additional free trial
requests should be approved after your free trial or subscription has ended. We may also use your
questions, suggestions, and requests for assistance to make improvements to our products and services.
If we decide to contact you about any products or services other than FABAbill, you will be given the option
to opt out of those communications. If you purchase a FABAbill license, some of your customer
information is submitted to our Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant payment processor, for the purposes of
automatically billing you on a monthly basis. We do not disclose customer information to any other
3rd parties without your explicit consent, unless it is necessary to enforce our agreements or if we are
required by law to disclose that information.
Payment Card Data
This consists of the Credit Card or Debit Card Number and Expiration Date you enter when purchasing a FABAbill
license. This information is submitted directly to our Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant payment
processor via a secure web frame and is never in our possession. Consequently, we cannot view, copy, or
disclose payment card data.
Client Data
This consists of any client information that you enter into the FABAbill program. This information
(including backups) is securely maintained in the United States (in 2 separate regions, for disaster
protection), until the FABAbill license is terminated (the information is deleted 30 days after license
termination, unless you inform us that you wish to have it deleted sooner). We take extensive measures
to protect the confidentiality of any client information you enter into FABAbill and to prevent that data
from being viewed by anyone other than you and your authorized staff members. These measures include,
but are not limited to, password protection, encryption of data in transit and at rest, and the use of
reliable, trustworthy cloud hosting providers that have received industry standard certifications relating
to security and privacy. We do NOT claim any ownership rights to the client information you enter into
FABAbill, and we do NOT have the authority to copy, transfer, or alter that information except as required to
support your use of FABAbill. We do NOT have the authority to view any client information that you
enter into FABAbill. We will not disclose any client information that you enter into FABAbill, unless
you have explicitly authorized the disclosure of that information or unless we are legally required to
disclose that information. In the event that we are legally required to disclose your information,
you will be notified (if allowed by law and within the constraints allowed by law) of the legal requirement
and reasonable efforts will be made to give you the opportunity to respond before the information is
disclosed.
System Logs
FABAbill maintains system logs that track website and user transactions, and these logs include some
information that is not described elsewhere in this document, such as IP Address, Date and Time of request or
transaction, Browser Type, transaction description, transaction result, and other standard logging
information. The maintenance of these logs is standard practice for maintaining a secure and reliable
web application and they are only used for that purpose, and they are only kept for a limited time period.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
The FABAbill program uses cookies to authenticate FABAbill users who have already been authenticated by
some other means (such as a User ID and Password). None of your information is stored in those
cookies - they only contain system-generated identifiers. Industry standard security measures are
taken to prevent those cookies from being disclosed to unauthorized sources.
The FABAbill website (www.fababill.com) is separate from the FABAbill program and uses Google Analytics
and Meta Pixel to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. Both of these
services use cookies to keep track of how website visitors navigate the FABAbill website, without revealing
the identity of those visitors. Meta Pixel may also use their cookies to target and deliver ads to
Facebook and Instagram users. The information that you enter when requesting a free trial or
purchasing a license or when filling out any other form that appears on the FABAbill website is NOT shared
with Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
